Inspired by the ubiquity of free paper fans in county fairs across Iowa, Fans of Democracy were created in parallel with Just Crushing. Editions of 200 Fans supporing each of the 5 cars participating in the Just Crushing heat of the Dubuque County Fair Demolition Derby were given away to fair attendees.
